A VERY EMOTIONAL READ.By Donna MorrisonWow, the first thing I will tell you is to have some tissues handy because you will cry at different parts of this book and they will not just be silent tears, they will be gut wrenching.Liam is not one of the siblings that you will like right off the bat, or for most of the book as a matter of fact. He is cocky and so full of grief that he keeps everyone out. In this book we learn why he is the way he has been through the other books. It is so painful to read at times, because if you think of putting yourself in that same scenario I don't know how I would cope. It is so painful to read and to follow him through his journey, but you can't help but to root for him and Aubrey. They are a perfect match but like I said before, he keeps everyone at arm's length.Aubrey finds a way to break through his barrier. He doesn't see it coming it just happens over time. She has slowly fallen in love with him, even though she knew it was the wrong thing to do since he said he would never move back or doesn't want a series relationship. But, she is able to show him that what he has been searching for doing all of those crazy stunts that he could find with her.Liam works though a lot of emotions even though he wants to do anything but, he just wants to push them in the deep recesses of his mind like he has been doing all of this time. It helps him to not break apart. He has yet to grieve for his brother, and everyone knows that he needs to do that.When Aubrey finds out he is going to attempt a dangerous jump she knows it is time to give him what his brother has left him. He left letters for everyone else but for his twin he left a box. When she went to deliver good news to the family he was not there and was not picking up his phone. That was after their amazing day in the sky and the awful fight right after. She was worried about him, but she left the box in his room and left him a text to talk to his mother.When he got home and saw that everyone was there well except Aubrey, he found out what they were celebrating and he made his exit to see what Aubrey left for him. When he opened it he knew right away that it was from his brother, he put the flash drive in the computer and when he saw his brother s face he slammed the computer shut. His dad came in and asked him was he ok and Liam finally starting letting go of some of the grief. He told his dad no, and began to tell him why. His dad was turning grey in the face at all that Liam was telling him. He couldn't stand to be there anymore and told his dad they would talk later and left. He went to Aubrey's and asked her to watch it with him. He couldn't believe what all he brother said and did. He wanted to throttle him all over again.Liam and Aubrey ended up making love and professing their love to each other. The next morning however, Liam told her that he did love her but he could not live here. Then he told her what he told his dad, and she told him that it was not that he couldn't live here he just choose not to live here and come to terms with his grief. She told him to go and talk to his dad and they would talk later, but she didn't see any reason to talk since she was not willing to move and neither was he.That is all I am going to give you about this story, I want you to read so you can experience the guilt, grief, and happiness as you read.Does Liam talk to his dad and come to terms with everything and decide to stayDoes Aubrey move to Denver after allThose are questions you will find the answers to when you read this book.Thanks for reading my review. Each book, is as good as the last!.....(18+).......As a real estate developer, and entrepreneur, Liam Archer always knew what he wanted and with who. He never believed in relationships, attachments, or the silly notions of love, but for some reason, he couldn't get Aubrey Tallinger off his mind. He was known as a millionaire playboy, who was a daredevil in every sport imaginable, including sky diving, heliskiing, and going crazy on his motorcycle, and he lived for all those thrill-seeking moments, but when Aubrey told him, that she didn't want to hook-up with him any longer, at his brother's own wedding, Liam was at a loss for words. Why didn't she want to be with him, now that he was back in Ribbon Ridge Granted, he lived in Denver, with a booming real estate company,butLiam always thought what they had was something special. They did, didn't hey Being one of six infamous children, Liam was still angry, that his identical twin, Alex, killed himself, and it was that reason alone, why he stayed away from Ribbon Ridge, but he never regretted spending time with Aubrey, not once! Attorney Aubrey Tallinger was tormented, that she just told Liam Archer, no more hook-ups. Truth be told, Aubrey had fallen hard for the handsome, but sinfully sexy man himself. But before her heart could be ripped apart than it already was, she had to tell him that it was over between them. Exactly what that meant, Aubrey hadn't a clue, because the only.thing she was sure about, was that Liam didn't want a girlfriend, only a plaything, and that was a fact, that she couldn't accept. She wanted and needed a Mr. Right, with dreams just like hers, and with Liam being a player and a daredevil with his own life, he just didn't fit into her plans or her dreams. Even though she wanted him in the worst way, Aubrey also knew that she would have to remain focused, keep her distance, and wait for Liam to return to Denver. As much as she tried, Aubrey couldn't keep Liam out of her bed or her heart, and once reality set in, she had to come up with a new plan, to keep Liam Archer, out of her heart, once and for all. After dealing with his own demons, his guilt over Alex, and his insecurities, Liam realized that he may have just lost the only woman, who ever mattered to him. With his own plan put into motion, he vowed to win her back, at all costs, and tell her the inevitable, if it was the last thing, he ever did. Liam, like his sister Tori in book 3, is not my favorite Archer. He's selfish, arrogant and a bit of a man-whore. He's also very dismissive of his family and Aubrey's concerns about his daredevil ways and his lack of interest in the family trust that Alex set up.But I'm cutting Liam a break. He didn't just lose his brother, he lost his identical twin. His sickly, mentally ill twin. I can't even imagine what Liam felt every time he saw his reflection. Plus, as much as he was a jerk to his family, he never really crossed that line with Aubrey.Aubrey is strong.. she didn't let Liam make her feel weak or lacking. She just isn't going to settle for less than the whole package...love, marriage, kids. I loved the flirty nature of their relationship, their growing feelings and their sexy encounters. I also love how accepting the Archer family is to Aubrey...it's great how much the family shows up in each book.As much as I don't want the series to end, I am looking forward to the non-multiple, Hayden's story.See all 54 customer reviews...
