YusufI got this used after reading the majority of the reviews and used it as my primary source (supplementing it with other stuff). I do NOT RECOMMEND this book as a primary resource for psych because it lacks depth when speaking about some diseases and disorders, e.g. ADHD is written about but not enough is said about the different types of it. Another example, it could have done little better job highlighting specific psychotherapeutic techniques as they relate to different diagnoses. For other things it relies solely on tables. If you like tables this may be a better review guide for you, but if you like bullets and text then this probably is not the best option. Also Blueprints Psych has a 150 question bank but these are too easy for the M3/4, PGY level. So this is an OK resource but please, if you want to do well in psychiatry clerkship and shelf, don't use this as your primary. Try something else like Casefiles or FirstAID for Psych. They truly need to update this book, including:-This book still uses words like "retarded" when the currently accepted term in medicine is "intellectually disabled"-This book uses DMS IV classification instead of DMS V for psychiatric disorders. Bad at this time because it is based on DSM 4 and not the new DSM 5, which is what I was tested on.
